Hi I’m Joseph Vaughn

I have been sharing my dance knowledge, helping
others add the fun and enjoyment of dancing to
their lives for many years.

My passion for dancing began at a young age watching
Fred Astaire move around the floor on tv.
It’s thru watching these types of movies from a very
young  age that I was able to teach myself to tap dance.

My dance life began in 1988 as a student of a Fred Astaire dance 
studio in Florida. After taking lessons for a while, I was offered a
very unique opportunity. Freds was expanding and looking for
individuals, that were interested in becoming teachers. I decided
this was an awesome chance and got involved.

I was in Gainesville Fla. opening what became a successful
studio for the company. The studio was in a strip mall
with a nice big floor. It was home for a while until requests
for help in LA were spread around the dance community.
I decided that since I had never been to Louisiana, I would
give this move a shot. So in 93 I ended up in Metairie, LA
at a Freds on Severn.

If you are new to dancing or want to improve what
you already know I can help. I love to share my knowledge
with others and help them include fun, fitness and the 
enjoyment of life more.
